We have begun an exciting phase in the process of building a new church campus. The time has come for each of us to respond to God?s great blessings with sacrificial giving as we raise most of the money for the new campus.
Our goal in the capital campaign is primarily that our faith would grow. Each of us will be challenged to take a step of faith. The result of our increased faith will be obedience in giving. I pray you will be actively seeking God?s direction in your giving this fall.
In light of the difficult economic times our country is presently going through some of you may be wondering if it is wise to enter a capital campaign now. From a human perspective it seems crazy. From a faith perspective, there is no better time. God wants each of us to learn total reliance on Him in our daily lives as well as in the church. I believe God would not create the need to build if He was not going to supply the resources to build. For this reason, I believe we are entering our best days yet. God has wonderful lessons to teach us about His faithfulness. The old hymn says it best: ?Trust and Obey, for there?s no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.?
I invite you on a journey of trusting God by willingly serving and giving in obedience to God?s will this fall. Will you join us?
